Why Vote for Dr Kumar?

Dear Voter

I'm standing in this by-election because I believe it's time for an anti-sectarian councillor on Fermanagh District Council.

Of all the many places I have been a doctor, my six years at the Erne Hospital have been the most rewarding.

As a doctor people often feel they can tell me things about their lives which they would not tell anyone else.

Being your Alliance councillor here would allow me to use my insight about what our wonderful community needs to ensure the council makes better decisions.

We need better traffic management, more community police on the beat and more quality tourism initiatives.

As your councillor I will work hard to deliver what you expect.

Please give me your No. 1 on 17th September.

Yours faithfully,

Dr. Kumar Kamble

Dr Kumar to Meet Police on Tackling Crime

Alliance Party Enniskillen by-election candidate Dr Kumar Kamble has said that anti-social behaviour and burglary are issues that must be tackled strongly as he said these matters make some people’s lives a misery. He is going to arrange a meeting with local police to discuss the issues.

Dr Kumar Kamble said: “Thug culture, no matter how small the problem is, can be extremely damaging to local residents’ quality of life if it is not tackled strongly. I am planning to meet with local police to discuss tackling anti-social behaviour and burglary in the Enniskillen area.

“Anti-social behaviour and burglaries are two of the key concerns local people have in relation to crime. People need to have total confidence and must feel safe in their homes. They should also have confidence that their belongings will be safe from damage or theft.

“While I would always urge people to be careful if they are walking around at night on their own, I think more can still be done to make our streets safer.

“Why should thugs be allowed to intimidate law abiding citizens in the town on Friday and Saturday nights? This is simply not acceptable and I will be calling on police to conduct more regular patrols in the area at those times.”

Enniskillen needs New Voice To Represent Everyone

Enniskillen needs New Voice To Represent Everyone

Alliance Party Enniskillen by-election candidate Dr Kumar Kamble is today submitting his nomination papers at the Townhall in Enniskillen. He stated that Enniskillen needs a new voice that will represent everyone, not just one side or the other. He also said that people are sick of the failures of the Executive to meet in the past two months and their failure over key issues like scrapping the 11-plus, environmental protection and the Maze stadium.

Dr Kumar Kamble said: “People in Enniskillen need a fresh new voice to represent the whole community, not just one of the two sides. I have a strong background in serving the community as a doctor at the Erne Hospital so I understand the concerns people have about funding for local services.

“The DUP, Sinn Fein, the Ulster Unionists and the SDLP are failing within the Stormont Executive. It is their fault that there is total chaos over the scrapping of the 11-plus, they failed to create an independent environmental protection agency, they are letting weeds grow over the Maze site instead of building a stadium, and they have not implemented free personal care for older people.

“These parties’ catalogue of failures almost grows on a weekly basis. The Executive has not met since mid-June and will not meet again until mid-September because they cannot agree on anything. This shows the total lack of respect that these parties have for local people.

“For too long, Fermanagh has suffered underfunding in vital services and public transport. We have also missed out on important job and tourism opportunities and I aim to address these problems. It’s time for a fair deal for Fermanagh.”
